They look a really good fit. They will blow out with wear after a few days all over. How are you enjoying the itchy sugar cane denim? Anything to report on the build, pockets, loops, etc?

I am used to unlined wool trousers, so I find them not overly itchy.
The built is top notch. Easily the best jeans I ever had. I never had raw denim and the only selvedge I had so far were a pair of Lee 101B and my 40s Freddies. The Freddies are still going strong after over three years (not a big feat considering that I usually wear jeans only about once or twice a fortnight) but I suspect the Brakemans will fade much nicer. I especially like the changing depth of color due to the hand dyeing.

I am, I was genuinely struck by Rudies praise, and thanks for being sensitive and pointing this out.

Funny, they appear to have a much higher waist than mine.
Although I only washed mine once or twice yet they are already developing some nice fades. |
