Some of the denim freaks out there are just clueless; it's the only way I can explain how many of them will pay so much for nice denim but have nary a clue about cut. The beautiful materials I've seen wasted on what otherwise amounts to a pair of low waist, supermarket jeans...
Thse look superb. Didn't have the scratch back when to back these as well as the work trews, but I will eventually be wanting a pair.

Thanks for your praise Tim, I'm glad you are happy. I'm just waiting on the summer samples to arrive then it will ALL be photographed and put up on our store and available in weights suitable for members in different climates, seasons etc.

I just about fell over when I saw the Yard Boss jeans for the first time...Awesome!! Can you tell me if your are going to make another run? If so, I would be very interested in both a kevlar jacket and pants. Keep up the amazing work.
All denim is going to be raw, it was raw back then and I see no reason why we are not using it now. So prepare for roping, twists, threads biting into seams. We have factored in shrinkage, so order your true size, on orders add an extra inch on the leg, since it shrinks the most. But the waist and body and sleeves are all good.
Ah, are they like the "Style Forum" crowd, who seemed last I looked to only be interested in waists some six inches south of the actual waist, and skinny lack-of fits?
Crossed-wires,I thought I was replying to a different post about the tastes of another denim group... Anyhow, these look great. I can see these being ideal for anyone after a more '50s' look than the buckle-back Brakemans, which are more of a forties style I think. I've marked a pair of these agaqinst my 'to buy' list once I've shrunk a bit....
I'm wouldn't know vintage denim if it bit me, so forgive me for asking, but are the higher rise among your denim line really high rise as in high rise tailored trousers, i.e. reaching to the natural waist? Looking at auction photos of vintage denim, of which I haven't studied too many admittedly, the rise on those seems more in line with vintage tailored trousers than it does on the SJC ones, going by the size charts on your site and comparing them to the measurements of my trousers of the same size (of which I have dozens).
I'm just curious if you're aiming for vintage specs or making concessions to the modern taste, either of which would make perfect sense.
