As it turns out, the tortoiseshell buckle ring I just got from the same Etsy seller fits the littlest finger on my left hand (I am right-handed, and it's a bit bigger).
So, if the ring's too loose on the rockin' 2016 SJC Sailor's Dream Neckerchief, I will still have an actual 'use' for it.
As it is, I am happy just to be able to look at it: It is simply stunning in real life (and I'm not 'into' jewelry).

I was just thinking it's interesting how these things work out sometimes (or maybe it's just my 'thinking' that is; I'm not sure).
In any case, I was loafing around here trying to figure out something I could 'do', and I landed here in Neckerville.
Frankly, I don't have much use for a neckerchief/scarf (either — lol), but I thought I'd pitch in and give one a shot; they look really cool.
Trouble is, knots are trouble themselves for me these days; I avoid (trying) to tie them whenever I can.
In fact, my motto is, "When you need a rubber band, nothing else will do."
Seriously. Almost anyone who receives a package from me will see I use them all the time.
So I think, "What do you call those ring-thingys you put on a Boy Scout scarf?", and I'm off to the races.
A similar thing happened when I finally got in touch with Barry Simonds about a cap. I'd been watching his FB page for over a year when he showed a cap he made out of some kind of old dot-striped denim I'd never seen or heard of before (Wabash, of course, as I found out). So I go looking for that, find out it's simply not to be had (pretty much), then stumble onto the ticking fabric I got on Ebay.
Pretty interesting, if you ask me. I certainly learned a lot, that's for sure.
Plus I got some really cool caps, and in my book, you just can't beat that.

PS: Needless to say, I suppose, I have no 'jacket' (either — lol), so the Pocket Square Option's definitely *out* (rofl)
