Just to say i put the cream shirt in a 60 deg cycle with whites and it did shrink a further 5%.

I made some experiments with the cream polos that I wanted to share. I've been washing them in cold water until two days ago I washed two of them at 40ºC and then let one to air dry and put the other one on the tumble dry machine.
Both of them shrinked about the same everywhere but the result is a 53cm pit to pit measurement which is what as far as I remember Simon put on the chart for size M. Meanwhile the size M that has been washed cold had a measurement of 56cm pit to pit which is a tad too big on me. I will be washing them at 40ºC from now on and let them air dry normally so they shrink just a bit while keeping the dropped shoulder and longer sleeve having a more fitted look on the body.

I think when it comes to machine washing, 40C and air drying is the best way to go for any clothing you really want to look after.
