Did anyone buy one of each design? I've ordered one dress shirt so far, curious to know the difference (pockets aside - and collar shape, of course). Soon be a bit warm for flannel I suspect, but thinking ahead to Goodwood Revivial in September..... Three full days of outfits to plan.
I think the work shirt has a more relaxed fit in the shoulders but a trimmer body, being that it isn't a pullover.
You, know, they aren't overly warm, it is quite a breathable weave. Cooler than a smooth business broadcloth.
That's good to know! I'm off to Beijing for three separate trips (I'm gonig to spend as much time in the air as on the ground!) during May; there's no dress code (I'm the only one there who does it), but I always prefer to go collar and tie to teach.
...having had the fun of Modeling for these shirts I can tell that the collar width of the dress shirts is a bit tighter as on the work shirts, and the work shirts are a tad wider in the shoulders. The collar shape is fantatsic and the over-all fit was very good for my size...You sure won`t wear those shirts during hot summer, but I think they`re a good companion from fall thru winter into Spring, at least here in Europe...

Same pattern (or small adjustments) in summer fabrics and new flannel colourways again next winter.

You've nailed it with the design so now it's just a matter of choosing different fabrics for different seasons. Embrace the designs and make them your identity.
I have even enjoyed wearing the workshirt! (although personally I don't like the sizes of the pockets - I like the large breast pocket but would have preferred a deeper, narrower 'pencil pocket' on the other side.
I agree that changing the colours for next winter (and getting the order in early so that people can be wearing them from October) is logical. They are very comfortable and are warm without being over warm. Lovely.
