Yes, early 50s with a 9" hem.

Nice. I like that early 50s pegged shape, before towards the end of the fifties trousers got too narrow overall, and then menswear went totally down hill therafter as the sixties dawned...

I like pegged, too, for a change of pace. I like it especially when worn on its own, without a jacket.

This one's not a true peg, though. 9" hem on size 30 translates to a fairly moderate peg. The true pegs I got have a 8.25" hem while retaining the full cut of seat and thigh and the full high rise.

Ah, well, yes - add another foruteen inches to that and 9" is an extreme peg!
