Yeah something has to give. But note. It's not until April and I'll have the new stock ready by then.

With regards to the apparent conflict between having a sale now and needing stock for next year: The sale helps clear the less popular colours. The stock of the popular colours is, I believe, very low. So no problem having a sale at this stage.

So were the less popular colourssimply less popular because we had a bigger range, or were thety unpopular? Big differnece there going forward, would be useful to know.
There are some colours, fwiw, that are difficult to judge fully til you see them in person; I know I was wary of the lemon / primrose this year til I saw one in person. I don't know if there's any way around that, though perhaps that's where retail sales / sales at events where people actually check them out in person might hlep gonig forward. It would be interesting to know which colours sold better online, in person to dancers, in person at rockabilly events..... that sort of thing. This could be very useful when picking colour ranges going forwards.

So, recently ordered a SJC polo from a local retailer and it’s basically fantastic except for the bottom of the shirt, which weirds me out a bit? Now, from looking at pictures in the webshop and all I realise that it is supposed to be s bit ’flared’ but is it really supposed to look like this?
![]() It’s actually a bit different on the two sides. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Can't really comment on how the bottoms of mine look - I always tuck 'em in...
Mine also flare out like that but it's not a problem for me as I always tuck it in.

I’m mostly interested in if I paid full price for a defective garment. If it’s supposed to look like that it’s supposed to look like that, and it’s nothing that a bit of needle and thread can’t fix.

Looks stretched. Just wash it, it will resume shape. You might introduce yourself in "Hi I'm SJC"

Update: washed it. Didn't help. Just sent it back to the retailer for a new one.

Brilliant! Anton, you are a star! Enjoy the holiday.
We should meet up when you get back. Simon is just down the road from you in Tooting (unless you think that's too far to travel from Streatham and would feel like a traitor crossing over the border ...)
That would be good - let's sort something out. Tooting is fine by me- I'm a Balham boy by birth. (I've come a long way over the years.)
