Is that the prototype SJC belt? I'd love a pair of engineer boots in that colour!

Any of these left on sale, or have they all gone / been mothballed for next Spring?

What do you mean, Edward? Belt or Polos? Because polos are still up. And I'd keep them up. For dancers, australians and other people who wear short sleeves during "winter".

Yip, the polos I meant - I missed them there! Cool. Hoping to pick one or two of them up still in colours I didn't get before.
The belts, they've not been released yet, right? Watching for those. And the braces....

I know that SJC won't be offering new polo shirt colours for summer 2018, however it might be worth considering re-stocking with the most popular colours (was it black, rust, cream and brunswick green?).
In particular, if SJC is going to attend a number of events over the course of the year, you will need to have stock. And polos are the most obvious items to sell since they are cheap.

Good idea, Sean - restock the popular colours, hold off on the ones less so. I will pick up some of the colours I missed last Summer; might even pick up a second of the ones I really like - the black for one. Just looks outatanding with the crean chinos and a pair of penny loafers.
I'm wearing my Rust one under a tweed jacket in the office as I type this....

You know, the rust is my favourite colour. But, for some strange reason, every time I wear it I seem to spill food on it! I don't do that with any of the other colours. It must be cursed.

Interesting idea. But the many colors last year kinda over saturated the market. A year without polos might make people miss them. Then next time they order faster? At the meoment they are at the stage of "nice but already have a few and wait for a sale" which isn't ideal.

I think that is true and the main reason is the huge colour offering from the start. If more colours would have been saved for next seasons people wouldn't be so overwhelmed.
Same with the shirts I think.

But this isn't about selling polos to people through the shop or selling to us on the forum (where i agree that Simon has saturated the market):
It is about Simon having polos available to sell at events where he will be selling them to people who have never heard of SJC or never bought from SJC. There will be no point in him attending events if he doesn't have any stock. ![]() • bluescaptain, Edward, Nik, RockinByrdie, Rudie, SJC, Unkraut
Good point. But do you think his stall will be too empty? What about workshirts, dress shirts and aertex?
Or just selling the polo overstock from last year (which is now on sale) Work suits, summer suits or seperates? Other than that I agree polos are great for events.

It seems a bit weird to me to have the polos on sale when you are planning to attend dance events. They are probably going to be the biggest sellers. If you have absolutely no spare room and renting a little space is out of the question then maybe a few friends of yours could stash one or two boxes in their places for you. But if you want to do events you need some stock. Giving the polos away in a sale is counterproductive.
