I'd rather the short Vaughn jacket than a cap, but to be fair I can see the cap being a bigger seller. Short jacket would be great for the second run, time to save after buying the suit version... ;-)
I wore my SJC cream flannels for the first time yesterday. I was cautious because I didn't know what to expect - I am used to wearing trousers made to my own patterns rather than 'off the rack' trousers.
My conclusion: They were fantastically comfortable. The weight of the fabric was great and they held their shape really well. I have a couple of minor points (which I have already sent to Simon) but I hope the basic pattern can be reused for a long time to come.

I was most impressed.
It was strange to see your trousers unhemmed in the event pictures
Would you care to share those points to see if other people feel the same way? After all they are also the same pattern the suit trousers will have.
The trousers were unhemmed because there was a mix up when they were taken to be hemmed. it wasn't until I got to Amsterdam that I realised the mistake.
