I would agree that the sleeves need to be slightly longer and the cuffs slightly looser.

I'm wearing my polka dot shirt today, I love it and always attracts comments. The cuffs definitely need widening though - I'm wearing a 36mm watch, nothing huge, and it's a struggle.

I have four of the first iteration of the flannel shirts; they fasten comfortably on my wrists, but similarly, if I want to wear a wristwatch with them, I have to leave the sleeve unbuttoned.

Thanks Sean isn't great this little movement is embracing young and mature in the same apparel. I for one cannot think of a time when this existed. Young men were forever trying to defy their fathers with dress, language, music and or everything else. But here we see differently. Fantastic!

With the first work shirts I didn't have a problem with the widht of the cuffs and watches but I don't wear modern watches which I find huge. The cuffs need to be wide enough to be able to roll the sleeves up your elbows, after all they're work shirts. I've been told privately that the lenght of the accidental longer sleeves in 15.5 were a disappointment. Mistakes like this can't happen.
You know this was tongue in cheek. I agree that mistakes like that must not happen. On the other hand, for me personally it was good luck. Without that mistake I couldn't wear any SJC shirt as the regular sleeves are about three inches too short for me. Unless Simon introduces tall sizes or a MTM option I can't buy the shirts no matter how much I would like to. Believe me, I am really bummed that the flannel shirts don't fit me. And if next winter's iteration doesn't have tall sizes I am going to have a temper tantrum.

Recently arrived SJC blue fleck check shirt on the left, handmade work shirt (”murarskjorta”) my mom made way back when on the right.

It is such a good design, just make it in the current workshirt pattern (single pocket, spearpoint collar). ![]() • David McQ, Edward, metatron, Nik, Pat Spade, Spritle, swinglish, TheContinentalOp, Urrah |
