I am wearing the vaugan 'workhouse' suit as a three piece (jacket, trousers and cap). It is great ... I look forward to its return in another colour (black & blue, black & brown etc).

@Sean Longden and anyone else who has it, how would you describe the fit of the vaugan workhouse jacket?
I'm wearing the trousers now and they're super great. But the cut of that jacket left me unconvinced.. Now I'm wondering if I might have acted in haste. Perhaps it's just not best suited to leaner body types

I'm a 37" chest, 30" waist, 5'10" and ordered the 38" chest jacket. It's definitely wider in the chest than my SnP workwear jacket of the same size, but I always wear it with the waistcoat as a three piece, so that's fine. I probably will get around to getting it nipped in a little if I ever find a tailor I can trust to do it. It improves immeasurably if you remove the black interfacing from the back of the front panels, lapels etc. Totally different feel, fit and shape... I count it as an essential modification.

Yeah it's bigger. Size down. I am usually a 44 but got the Vaughan in 42. It's still compfy and not at all snug.

Fitting advice for the denim jacket.
When I look at the chart the shoulder measurements points me to a 40 but a chest size of 44 inches sounds very big. Anyone here that has got a jacket and can tell me which size they ordered?
