Thank you Nik. Simon will be able to throw some light on that but this is the sample without collar stand which I believe was regular mustard.

Uhm, huh? So it must be the size L sample, no collar stand, "in a darker brown/rust colour" as Simon called it in the polo thread?
Just asking because it looked darker in Willyto's pic than the regular mustard used in the polos that are due for release.
For once I'm wearing everything vintage except the flat cap from Laurence John (vintage fabric though). The tie is one of the spanish ones from Pete, old ones he had and sold to me before moving.

Today, I am wearing William Lennon boots (B9s, but in shiny black leather with triple thickness, natural colour soles), burgundy moleskin trousers from Charles Tyrwhitt (a nice, fairly 50s cut in the leg - if only they were about 3" higher in the rise and 4" longer in the zip), repro WW1 spec Greyback shirt from Soldier of Fortune, SJC Summer 2016 Sailor's Dream bandana (red/cream/blue), Next Shawl cardigan (grey wool, circa 2011). Outwear: very early 50s (I think) db overcoat (black/ grey herringbone), Failsworth eight panel cap (black/grey herringbone Harris tweed, purchased through Aero a few years ago), black leather gloves (a Christmas present a couple of years ago - I think they're Marksies).
No photo available. Off to Rhythm Riot at the end of the wek, hopefully will be able to scrape together a couple of hald decent outfits for that!
SJC yellow flannel shirt worn with 1937 (US) 3-piece DB in French navy with alternating red and cream pinstripe; 30s German/French goatskin halfbelt

Loving these shirts. I'm hoping to be able to go in on a second run in the Spring, they look fantastic.

Yes its his, but I'm taking it off him before he cuts (butchers) it down to his size. I'd rather preserve it in tact and make him a new one.
