Such a shame you couldn't keep the Harris Tweed one! Nice jacket this one too. Perfect to wear it in a summer night with the summer polos.

Thanks! Yes, it was a shame to let the tweed one go, but there was really no way to get it to fit.
I try not to get too emotional about these things, haha. I think I could have got more for it considering all the interest it received. I just broke even when factoring in the postage from the US I paid. But I want other people to get a good deal too. I'll post pics of it in the short jacket thread later. I wonder if this cotton one was made postwar from military surplus khaki drill? It looks very similar. It is actually flannel lined, so more of an Autumn-Spring jacket. ![]() • bluescaptain, Edward, metatron, Mr Potts, Sean Longden, TheContinentalOp

Saturday after a long day of rain. How lovely it is to have some light when it's around 20:00
![]() I need some of those belts Simon!
Looking smashing Willyto, belts are coming, went 250 deep on SJC deco case buckles and on the '30s pitted workwear buckles too.
Funny I am wearing the same outfit right now on the flip side here in the morning, I've just been out to fetch breakfast, with a cap, some round tinted prescription glasses. Marc was right about those buttons. Looks great. Thanks for posting. ![]() • Mr Potts, nortonofmorton, SJC, swinglish, TheContinentalOp

![]() Realm and Empire military inspired leisure jacket with peak lapels and gathered back 1990s? RL trousers Asos leisure shirt. Not a regular customer, but this was quite faithful to the vintage examples. I thought it would be interesting to show this PRL vintage inspired jumper, seeing as SJC is working on one. ![]() Cotton, so good for warmer weather. Good details, including inner elbow reinforcements. Can't imagine why ol'Ralph would want me the customer to advertise for free, so I presume this patch is intended for Pauls and Patricks who like baseball and American football. I carefully removed it with a seam ripper. ![]()
