Trying out some pieces acquired from Nik (thanks Nik!), 30s-40s cardigan, 30s linen suit trousers, 30s brocade tie. Went for a 30s collegiate look, but eh, not hellbent on period accuracy.

Gee they look so Edwardian! Fab great stuff CC, thanks, how do they feel on the move, how's the build, grip?

I just went to the corner shop and back and I was primarily focused on what I had to not forget. Walking in them they definitely felt very comfortable, more so than my other boots. I'll wear em out tomorrow and answer about build and grip then

My boots report is yes I like these soles, they're my preference. I don't think I'm qualified to talk about build quality but I can say there's nothing awry as far as I can tell. These are nice, comfy, lightweight boots that can be worn all day without giving me any gip
In other news, I'm down with manflu today which has rendered me a snotty mess but unpacking this shirt tonight has cheered me up a little. Best one so far, and I've tried them all! ![]()

I got a shawl neck jumper today and oh my word I am smitten. As soon I put it on I literally felt like a king, a really pleasant surprise as I was not at all expecting it to be this good. I would dearly love to show you exactly how good it is, alas my photography is regrettably quite shit, and my assistant's is next level shit. So these will have to do. I don't feel like the shots in the store do it justice either btw, hence my moderate expectations

My première for the new shaker. It is certainly warm - a little too much, even, at least for today's weather ;-) . I combined it with the SJC cream cap.

Wearing the brown trousers, yellow polo, and brown boots today (it's 85 degrees - whatever that translates to in European).

Tried out the new sweater and cardigan. Great stuff! And the new flannel shirt is the best cut yet i think!

Looking good Kenny! Glad you like the fit on the new shirts, I agree they are pretty much nailed.
SJC rust shirt, 50's cream flannels, 40's French canvas jacket, 30's brocade tie. Sorry for the shoddy pics. Simon, if you need any scruffy jewish-american models, I'm your man.
