A less usual appearance of an SJC cap... forming part of my impression of an anarchist militiaman, Aragon front, Spanish Civil War, 1937. I was in a "living trench" reenactment activity, in the very area George Orwell was - Orwell himself being a POUM (Workers' Party of Marxist Unification) member.

Great look Simon! That is how I usually wear my SJC stuff.. I seldom use waistcoats or ties for example.. I'm to bloody warm!

This is very true, indeed if one looks at the size chart one will see the seat and thigh (the problem areas for bigger guys) is the same as the wide leg Mule Spinner trousers, where as the hem is narrower which gives a slimming finish at the ankle.

Jeans in those trendy chain stores don't fit me. But I also agree that tapered pants can work. I got several french workwear trousers in a similar taper. It's up to your taste which version you buy. Luckily we got the choice right? |
